Type 28EXP
The Type 28EXP is a non-contacting gas seal designed for turbo compressors in extreme environments, with proven performance up to 425 bar(g). Using John Crane’s patented spiral groove pattern, it eliminates wear and seal oil contamination, reducing maintenance costs and downtime. Available in single, tandem, and double seal arrangements, it’s the industry standard for gas-handling turbomachinery since the 1970s.
